The interiors for this home were integrally custom designed. The client is the owner of a company which builds interiors for private jets and requested a familiar level of refinement, materiality and detail for his home. The craftsmanship is expressed in a palette of limestone, wenge, and anigre hardwoods and shotblast masonry. The use of “heavier” materials such as the cmu was of particular interest to the client as a counter-thought to the weight limits always present in his aircraft design work.
